Experience Fall the Burwinkel Way

Pumpkins and corn mazes are to fall as snowmen and hot cocoa are to winter; they are synonymous with the season. Some of my greatest childhood memories have taken place while wandering through a corn maze with my family and carefully choosing between pumpkins. Burwinkel Farms in Ross Township allows you to preserve these beloved traditions in their two-acre corn maze and pick-your-own pumpkin patch.

Burwinkel Farm

Burwinkel Farms turns into a pumpkin paradise each fall. A display of plump pumpkins greets you at the entrance to the farm. The smell of fresh apples picked straight from the Burwinkel’s personal orchard wafts through the brisk air, setting the tone for a perfect autumn afternoon.

Hayride Into the Heart of Fall

On the weekends, the Burwinkels take their autumn-loving guests across the street on a hayride adventure around the grounds. It’s home to their stunning sunflower field, corn maze and pick-your-own-pumpkin patch. You can even pick your very own sunflower to take home!

Pick Your Own Pumpkins

The hayride drops you off among the sunflowers and pumpkins. The pick-your-own pumpkin patch is true to its name. The convenient walkway inside the patch provides pickers easy access to gaze and size up the pumpkins. Once you find the perfect pumpkin, you yank it off the vine and it becomes yours for decorating and carving.

Corn Maze

Wander around the corn maze at your leisure, or challenge yourself to try and find the four pit stops the Burwinkels have hidden inside the maze.
