Submission Guidelines

The Perfect Match Entry Rules

1. Couples Only: This contest is open to couples who met while playing pickleball, or love playing pickleball together. By entering, you confirm that your relationship began or was significantly strengthened through playing pickleball together.

2. Employment Restrictions: The contest is not open to employees of The Pickle Lodge, Travel Butler County, or any of the vendors associated with the wedding. If either partner in the couple works for any of these organizations, you are not eligible to participate.

3. Age Requirement: Both partners must be 18 years of age or older.

4. Marriage Requirement: Couple must not already be legally married. Vow renewals will not be considered as entries. Couple must provide proof of marriage license by May 27th, 2025. 

Submission Guidelines:

5. Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted no later than February 14, 2025, by 11:59 PM EST. Late submissions will not be accepted.

6. How to Enter: Submit your entry via the contest submission form on the website. Entries must include both partners’ names, a brief story of how you met while playing pickleball, and any relevant contact information. There is no cost associated with entering.

7. One Entry Per Couple: Only one entry is permitted per couple. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.

Winner Selection:

8. Announcement of Winner: One winning couple will be selected and announced on February 28, 2025. The selection will be based on the couple's story and their connection to pickleball. 

9. Notification of Winner: The winning couple will be contacted via contact information provided during entry. If the selected couple does not respond within 7 days, an alternate winner may be chosen.

Prize Details:

10. Venue: The winning couple will receive The Pickle Lodge venue for their wedding on June 14, 2025, free of charge. The venue accommodates up to 100 guests for both the ceremony and reception.

11. Included Services: The winning couple will have access to a venue coordinator who will assist in the planning process to ensure that the details of the event are properly arranged. 

12. Exclusions: The prize does not include expenses such as centerpieces, chair covers, catering, or other additional decor items. These items may be purchased separately by the couple.

13. Guest Limit: The venue is provided for up to 100 guests. Any additional guests beyond this limit may incur additional fees as per venue policy.

14. Non-Transferable: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.

Additional Conditions:

15. Compliance with Venue Policies: The winning couple must comply with all venue policies, including restrictions on decor, vendor coordination, and event timing.

16. Cancellation: If for any reason the wedding is canceled by the winning couple, The Pickle Lodge and Travel Butler County are not responsible for providing an alternate prize or compensation.

Legal and Privacy:

17. Publicity Release: By entering, you agree that The Pickle Lodge and Travel Butler County may use your story, names, and photos in promotional materials, including social media, for the purpose of announcing the contest winners and promoting future events.

18. Liability Release: The Pickle Lodge is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event planning process or the wedding day.

19. Decision is Final: The decision of the contest judges is final and binding. No appeals or reconsiderations will be accepted.

By entering the contest, you confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements and agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
