The Toy Department has Expanded, Open at New Location

It's now one of the biggest toy stores in the country!

The Toy Department first opened in Fairfield, Ohio in 2018 specializing in both modern and vintage toys, collectibles, rare-prototypes, and Kenner memorabilia. In July of 2023, this toy store moved a mile down from their previous location to a bigger space. Despite being a small business with less than 10 employees, The Toy Department has become a destination for toy collectors and families to travel to.

Not Your Typical Toy Store

The Toy Department will take you back in time to the fondest memories of growing up with your favorite toys— and it is a great destination for any age and every budget.

"We just keep working to become an even better destination. It's awesome to see people's faces when they first walk in," says store manager, Kenny Koepnick. "We see a lot of cross-generational collecting in families too, which is really cool to see."

The store not only brings in people from all over Ohio, but all over the country as well— some customers driving 12+ hours to check out the incredible inventory. Customers can browse and shop vintage toys to rare pre-production prototypes, to brand new toys and even some hard to find ones.
