The Best Biking Trails
Biking is always a fun activity, whether you're looking for exercise or just some time to relax and take in all that nature has to offer. Butler County is full of some pretty amazing Parks that offer everything from wildlife, to art, to trails. If you're looking to spend these next few Summer months out and about within nature, we've compiled a list of some of the best spots to take a bike ride here in the BC.
1. Harbin Park

Fairfield's Harbin Park offers a variety of mountain biking trails, ranging from beginner’s level to advanced. With great wildlife and great views, this is a must for bikers all around!
2. Leonard Howell Park

This 9 acre park in Oxford features a new playground, open green space and trail access to the OATS Trail and Miami Natural Areas Trails. It's an ideal spot for a bike ride that includes lots of shade and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife! It makes for a peaceful day in Oxford with the family — and you can see the famous Black Covered Bridge while you're there.
3. Liberty Park

This park in Liberty Township has a nice paved bike trail throughout the entire park that stretches approximately 2+ miles. Along with two separate playgrounds, picnic shelters, and hiking options as well, you can head to Liberty Park for more than just biking — it's a great place to get outdoors and get active.
4. Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park
Pyramid Hill is a great location for both hiking, biking and experiencing some breathtaking views! With over 80 outdoor sculptures throughout the park, every view is something to remember. Head over for a beautiful combo of art and nature.
5. Great Miami River Trail

The Great Miami River Trail in Middletown encompasses 99 miles of beautiful sights and diverse terrain, including paved trails, views of the Great Miami River, and connections to different communities across Butler County. Ride your bike next to the river, stop at great restaurants along the riverway, ride beneath a covered bridge and so much more.
6. Voice of America MetroPark
With 9 miles of paved & natural trails, VOA Metro Park in West Chester is a great choice for anyone who wants to do some long distanced biking. The park also features athletic fields and a dog park for other fun outdoor activities.
