Calabria Pizza is the newest pizza spot to hit the west side of Hamilton. Specializing in New York-style pizzas, Calabria's pizzas feature homemade dough and Grande cheese.

Opening Calabria Pizza

Calabria Pizza opened in a location well known to longtime Hamiltonians — it was once home to Milillo’s Pizza, a beloved spot that served generations of families until its closure in 2023. Recognizing the site's deep-rooted history as a popular pizza destination, Fitim Islami and his business partner, Mensur Demnika, saw an opportunity to continue that tradition by opening Calabria Pizza.

Demnika, who also owns Napoli’s Pizza in the Dayton region, is no stranger to the pizza business. He understands its appeal, calling it a communal food that brings people together.

For newcomers trying Calabria Pizza for the first time, the New York-style cheese pizza is a great place to start. Other favorites include the meat lovers, bruschetta, and white pizza, topped with ricotta and spinach.
