It's that special time of the year.... 

Holiday events are popping up around Butler County meaning the holiday season has returned! Drive through festive holiday lights, go ice skating, or maybe even visit the big guy himself. However you enjoy spending your holiday season, Butler County has events to delight every one! Check out some of the events taking place this month.

Pyramid Hill Lights

When: Beginning November 15, 2024

Where: Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park & Museum

The ultimate holiday tradition! Drive through over one million lights and art installations by local artists at Pyramid Hill's annual light show.

Holiday Whopla

When: Beginning November 15, 2024

Where: Downtown Middletown 

Holiday Whopla

Delight in the holiday season in Middletown! Enjoy ice skating right in the heart of downtown Middletown, plus more holiday fun including rentable igloos to keep warm, horse drawn carriage rides, visits with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and other favorite holiday characters, and much more!

Christmas at the Junction

When: Beginning November 16

Where: EnterTRAINment Junction

Christmas at the Junction

Experience the world's largest indoor train display with a holly jolly twist. Here, you and your family will be transported on a magical journey through a Winter Wonderland to the North Pole. Enjoy pictures with Santa Claus, cookies with Mrs. Claus, an elf workshop, and so much more! 

Fairfield Parade of Lights

When: November 23, 2024

Where: Village Green Park

Fairfield Parade of Lights

Celebrate the start of the holiday season with the annual Fairfield Parade of Lights! The parade steps off from Waterworks Park at 6pm and ends at Village Green Park, followed by a tree lighting, vendors, dance performances, and more!

Lights Up

When: November 23, 2024 

Where: Liberty Center

Celebrate the official holiday kick-off event at Liberty Center with family-friendly activities and special guests! Find your favorite spot around the center to enjoy the parade made up of local organizations and special holiday characters which will loop through the center and end at The Park. Santa will then need your help counting down to the lighting of the tree in The Park so be sure to bring your holiday cheer! 

Hamilton Tree Lighting

When: November 23, 2024

Where: Marcum Park

Embrace the start of the holiday season in Hamilton! Gather in Marcum Park to view the holiday annual tree lighting event and enjoy festive music, live reindeer, enchanting carriage and train rides, face painting, balloon artists, holiday treats, and so much more. Bring the whole family for an unforgettable evening of seasonal fun!

Oxford Farm & Flea

Where: Uptown Oxford

Oxford Farm & Flea

Come celebrate art, culinary delights, live music, and more at Oxford's 2nd annual artisan fair. This family-friendly event will showcase the diverse talents of the community. From artists to farmers to local businesses and more, there will be something to tempt every shopper. 

Christmas Glow

When: Beginning November 23 

Where: Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park 

Land of Illusion's enchanting Christmas Glow event shimmers brighter than ever with a promise of delightful moments for the entire family! As you embark on this festive journey, you'll be welcomed by a radiant 2-mile drive, adorned with 3.8 million twinkling lights. This luminous spectacle makes it one of Ohio's most grand light displays.

Light Up Middletown

When: Beginning November 28

Where: Smith Park

Tour the season's fantasyland of holiday lights at Smith Park in Middletown. Your journey begins with a tunnel of lights. This driving tour has an abundance of themed areas. You'll encounter a floating sea serpent in the lake, Santa's workshop and sleigh, a penguin village and plenty more festive fun. 

Christmas in the Country

When: November 30, 2024

Where: Downtown Shandon

Shandon, Ohio’s first Welsh settlement, celebrates its annual old-fashioned Christmas in the Country. Enjoy photo opportunities with Santa, crafts and antiques, free horse drawn carriage rides, and Welsh cakes!
