Earth Day is a day to demonstrate support for environmental protection and to appreciate our beautiful planet. Two great ways to celebrate are to plant your own garden or to get outdoors and explore. Below, find 5 ways to celebrate Earth Day in Butler County, Ohio!
1. Delhi Flower & Garden Center
6282 Cincinnati Dayton Road | Liberty Township, Ohio
This huge garden center is a great place to explore and browse for some new plants, including a variety of unique flowers, trees, and shrubs. Their friendly staff is also super knowledgeable to help beginners or experienced gardeners! Customers can also find signs throughout the garden center labeling all the plants with unique care instructions. Be sure to keep an eye out for the friendly garden cats roaming around too— Lilly and Porter are both friendly and love pets!
2. Art & Earth Day at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park
1763 Hamilton Cleves Road | Hamilton, Ohio
Explore over 300 acres of gorgeous valleys, ponds, and hills, embellished with over 80 monumental sculptures throughout Pyramid Hill Park. In honor of Earth Day, the park also hosts their annual Art & Earth Day event to celebrate Arbor Day, Earth Day, and International Sculpture Day all in one. The event includes different workshops, kids activities, yoga classes, and more!
3. Rentschler Forest

This park and nature preserve is picture-perfect for any beautiful day! The picturesque open space features a number of walking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and Great Miami River views.
4. Bull's Run Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum

This park and nature sanctuary is a great way to appreciate the outdoors. The park also features Bull's Run creek, a garden, and wildlife & bird-feeding stations.
5. Voice of America MetroPark
7850 VOA Park Drive | West Chester, Ohio
This 435-acre park includes s a 35-acre stocked lake and nine miles of combined paved and natural trails, so you can relax with some fresh air and experience nature.
